As a geek, I use the Linux Operating system, for my workstations and servers. According to Shelly Goodman, an extreme republican in the US, that makes me a marxist. Well, actually, she doesn’t say that in the article (by Tristan Shuddery, another extreme republican), but she sure as hell meant it.

When I first read the article, I thought it was a joke. People can’t be that dense, I thought. Apparently, it’s not fake. These people seriously believe that shit. It sure as hell scared me, and I feel really sad for her and people like her.

I think that this way of thinking is much more extreme than what mr. Osama Bin Laden is doing. Or at least as extreme.

Actually, I think that about a lot of religions. Every religion has their group of people who are so into their belief, that they’d do anything to convince people. Or, in the case of Christianity, start a war.

Believing in a cause is perfectly OK and healthy. Invading countries and killing it’s people over such things isn’t.
